    Well, Hillary is blaming Comey.

But, if that's the case, she really has no one but herself to blame. The whole FBI investigation wouldn't have occurred if she hadn't ignored federal law, and regulations regarding use of e-mail and proper handling of classified documents.
She can't blame him either for lying under oath about the whole situation either. She owns those and that is part of the reason she failed to get elected.

The only alternative to that is she's above the law and her supporters don't care that she is.

That's no surprise, really. She was already blaming Comey before the vote. Which is ironic, considering before that it had been the GOP blaming Comey for not prosecuting her in the first place.

What will be interesting to see is what her fate is beginning in 2017.

That is the multi-million dollar question.

        Literally.
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

I've seen a few people raising the idea that, even if Obama doesn't pardon her, that Trump won't really follow through on a prosecution unless he was damned confident they would win - and that it wouldn't make her into some sort of twisted martyr, a victim of the "Tyrant" Trump.

Which would also allow him to keep the threat of prosecution going forward if he ever needed it. You know, in case Clinton starts causing trouble later on down the line...

It's not blackmail when it's the government.

And only two of the people saying as much to DoD were desperate liberals clinging to the last vestiges of hope.

I think the deciding factor in a prosecution will, once again, be Hillary. Was this her last hurrah, or does she plan on running again. If she indicates the later, it might very well happen that she gets prosecuted just to put an end to that possibility. If she fades into history I doubt she'll get pressed about it and more seriously doubt she'll be prosecuted.
