Three down 47 to go. They can go stick their collective heads up Moscow Don's ask. Russia is the last country that has a right to interfere in our politics any more than they have.

If Russia wanted to influence the US political process, they would have donated money to the Clinton Fund like everyone else...

Perhaps they just want to see how to run a real one - after all they have no experience of doing so

Nice. Now Putin can kick election observers out of Russia next election and point at the US... "Well, they did it first!"

If there's nothing to hide, who gives a $h!+ if the Russians watch?

And have the observers of the last lot of pseudo elections in Russia made the slightest difference?

An observer is not a person who thrusts his hand in a ballot box being all alone in a dark room. He can only stand at a certain distance, being surrounded by police and other observers, and watch how the boxes are opened and how the ballots are counted. One must be a real Houdini to do anything to the ballots or influence the count.

And by the way, here's the news from a month ago:

The United States sent 63 representatives to observe the election process during the recent elections to the State Duma, the lower house of the country’s parliament, a member of Russia's Central Election Commission responsible for international cooperation said Monday.

Pseudo elections? Is this the British English term for "the elections the result of which I didn't like"?

I doubt it, and I haven't heard of any protests from them either. That's why I saw this rejection as a sign of extreme unfounded paranoia on part of the US states' administrations. I enjoyed reading some political commentaries where this move was justified by "look, they have big scary hackers, so yeah, if we let them in the polling stations, it's gonna be dangerous". A Chewbacca justification of sorts. Anyway, they not only allowed Putin to score a propaganda goal - they took the ball themselves, carefully carried it through their own gates and chalked the "1:0" score on the board

Its ok, bring the Russians here to the USA. We will supply Jack Daniels, let the Russians bring the Vodka.

It wont effect the strength of Mrs Clintons campaign, Clinton has been destroying Trump...or perhaps I should say Clinton is strategically letting Trump destroy his own campaign.

Isn't America using electronic voting machines instead of paper ballots?
So what would they be watching anyway?
