  • The Latest: Kaine associates Trump's values with KKK's

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on the U.S. presidential race (all times EDT):

    2:50 p.m.

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine is associating Donald Trump's values with those of the Ku Klux Klan.

Kaine made some of his most pointed comments to date about Trump at a voter registration rally at Florida A&M University, a historically black university in Tallahassee.

Kaine said: "Ku Klux Klan values, David Duke values, Donald Trump values are not American values." Duke is a former Ku Klux Klan leader.

Considering that it was the Democrats that founded the Klan, and Democrats that established Jim Crow laws, and Democrats that opposed integrating high schools, and Democrats that resisted the civil rights laws (until Johnson realized he could “get them [email protected] to vote Democrat for the next 100 years”). I would say that the Democrats would certainly know what the KKK stands for and how it thinks.

Personally I think islam should be outlawed in Civilized nations. It's a affront to the very ideals of western civilizations. Free Speech, Equality of Women, ect...

That it promotes the ideals of slavery, rape, and murder of dissenters are the key points for me...
        Credo quia absurdum.

Well said. At this point in history, it is not just another religion. It is a political machine.

And as such it is the ideal ally of the Left.

But, about Tim Kaine for a moment; this is exactly the kind of bombast you can expect from that little creep. I didn't pick those words out of thin air, I used to live in Virginia and that low-life is one of the reasons I was happy to leave.

Listen to him speak, and what he says, at least once. The Dem's VP is as annoying and disconnected as Harry Reid and every bit as ditzy and out there as Nancy (granny bug-eyes) Pelosi.
A nasty combination, and the Dems want him one very shaky heartbeat from the Presidency.

I agree, and so should the so called progressives, it stands for everything that they are supposedly to be against, however it would be unconstitutional ( in the USA) in my mind.

The Klansman of today are voting for a GOP candidate.

Btw I don't recall seeing Klansman at the GWB rallies in 00 and 04. Klan supporters today support Trump. Trump has used negative language toward Mexicans so I suppose its to be expected that Klan type folks will support Trump. When I was at a Trump rally in Buffalo the speakers prior to Trump were whipping up the crowd by saying the Chinese are taking all our jobs.

Folks like you, Bwaha and Gixxer openly insulting Muslims in a thread that has nothing to do with Islam.

You guys dont represent American values, I do. And its important that I showcase to the non American posters that here in the USA...racism and bigotry does not fly. As a white American Christian I respect the other religions of Abraham, Judaism and Islam. But you guys, Bwaha, you and Gixxer...who are you? Are you folks actually Americans and if so how can you folks say such horrid things about large groups of people who dont all think alike like the Muslims.

Anyone who takes such an extreme position like you are doing, as are others itt should be ready for criticism.

Do you realize the magnitude of what you just said.

If you call for a religion to be banned then you open others to argue to ban so called races or other religions.

The Klan today has just morphed into “Progressives”. The people that like to think that they are so much better than the rest of the rubes since they are the “intelligent” ones. And yet they continue to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Same group of close minded losers refighting their lost causes again and again.

Reporter: Who do you like for president, sir.

Reporter: Do you think whites are superior to Blacks and Latinos?
Will Quigg: Well we are God’s chosen people.
Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign has received more than $20,000 in donations contributed by members of the Ku Klux Klan, a prominent member of the hate group announced earlier this year.
