  • Prisoners make defective helmets.

I don't mind wearing PT T shirts made by convicts but when it come to life, death or serious injury to our troops I could give a shhit less for some askhole scumbags bottom line.
"Ask not what your country can do for you"

Left wing, Right Wing same bird that they are killing.

I'd blame it on the staff and management operating the factory rather than the inmates first and foremost.
This is because the staff and management are almost certainly unqualified and incompetent to a good degree.

It's a virtual certainty that the staff lack the education and background necessary to make sure the products made are correct and quality checked correctly.
This same problem came up with the Unicor facility at Bastrop TX that made helmets some years ago. Same problem, same reason... Some ex-guard with a high school diploma supervising the inmates making them and not having a clue about the product.
