  • Trump Wins Indiana... and GOP nomination.

(CNN)Donald Trump surged to a decisive victory in the Indiana Republican primary Tuesday, CNN projects, while Ted Cruz's last-ditch efforts to win the state faltered, leaving Trump on the cusp of the nomination.

Though the real-estate mogul won't secure the 1,237 delegates he needs to formally claim the nomination until June, his Indiana triumph makes it almost impossible to stop him.

So, on the day he basically clinches the nomination, the other big story for the GOP nominee is his quoting of a National Enquirer story about Sen Cruz Father hanging around with Lee Harvey Oswald a month or two before the JFK assassination.....Lots of sound bites for the fall campaign..

    http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefi...to-jfk-shooter

"His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald being shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous," Trump said. "Nobody even brings it up; they don't even talk about that.

"What was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death, before the shooting?" Trump asked.

The National Enquirer published images last month of what it said showed Rafael Cruz and Oswald passing out leaflets in 1963 in New Orleans, a few months before the JFK assassination in Dallas.
By the way, the 'author' of the NE article had a different article claiming it was Sen Rubio's Dad that was hanging out with Oswald....

Even Rush Limbaugh recognizes the insanity....

      http://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-g...nsanity-222753

"However you want to characterize the week: The Week of Insanity, The Week of the Crazies, The Week of the Unbelievable. It started... Here we are," Limbaugh told listeners Tuesday. "This is a presidential campaign, a presidential primary campaign. Now, it's hard to pick a starting point when all this lunacy actually began."

Didn't you know that "Rubio Cruz" is Spanish for "grassy knoll"... ?

Trump's biggest challenge will be in tightening up the crazy rhetoric without losing his main appeal to his core supporters.

            My worst jump story:
My 13th jump was on the 13th day of the month, aircraft number 013.
As recorded on my DA Form 1307 Individual Jump Log.

Really didn't think he'd get there when all this started. Underestimated the anger directed at both major parties. As a result we have a race between two unpopular & unloved candidates. At least Trump will keep it entertaining.

Doc, time for you to break out some graphs. We've missed them. Its going to be a 'colour & movement' election, you are uniquely qualified to add some colour (if not movement).

I think even Scottish-born John Paul Jones would need clean Y-fronts about now - I certainly do.

If this was America's IQ test, it's been a miserable failure.

We are beginning to go down a very dark and dangerous road...
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

The upside of Trump is that any (foreseeable) harm he causes will likely not be permanent.
Hillary's will continue solidify Obama's drive for socialism and likely spell the end of our current system of government.

Then I would move to a place like Russia, where they take their one party rule pure, without the base alloy of hypocrisy.

I just hope he doesn't wuss out on his opponent like McCain and Romney did with "0".
