Deafening silence from the Right. After it's only Progressives and Liberals who are perverted.

Probably too busy protecting toilets to care.

The best defense is a good offense. If you point the finger at others, they won't be looking at you.

As has become all too obvious from scandals over here sexual predators know no party boundaries and can be found equally on the left and the right

I'm sure that a partisan will come on and say "but so-and-so from the Democrats did something even worse (but unrelated)" instead of acknowledging that they had a pervert in their midst.

Clinton is responsible for the charges against him.

You sound just like all the criminals who insist that they would not be in prison except for the cop, the judge and all the other excuses.

Sure they would, since they are dirtbags to begin with.

Again you miss the obvious point. Hastert led the charge against Clinton for having sex with an adult female and then lying about it. Meanwhile Hastert got his jollies by diddling underage HS males and then paying hush money to cover it up. You don't see the hypocrisy here? A child molester trying to impeach an adulterer? It boggles the mind.

What a pervert! And he has the nerve to feel he's suffered enough punishment.

"As stated in our sentencing memorandum, we note that for the last four decades he has made every effort to be a positive force in the lives of others," Green said. "We also advised the Court that the profound humiliation and public shaming Mr. Hastert has and will continue to experience, coupled with the resulting isolation and abandonment he has endured, are already significant punishment and have undoubtedly contributed to his fragile medical condition. He accepts responsibility for his conduct, seeks no special consideration, and is prepared to receive the Courtís sentence."

                      Exactly.
Clinton was impeached and disbarred because of what he did, not because Hastert was a slimeball.
Hastert isn't the reason Clinton perjured himself and engaged in inappropriate sexual relations with a subordinate.
Although I do note that Hastert was paying his victim millions (to protect himself), but that was better than how clinton dealt with his victims.

Yes, it is hypocrisy by hastert and he should be punished.
But that doesn't make clinton a victim or innocent.
