Reports: Trump Left Off Some Florida Ballots; “Dozens of Complaints”

    Kristinn Taylor Mar 15th, 2016 11:28 am 729 Comments

Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s name was left off Florida primary ballots according to reports relayed by Fox News’ Jennifer Eckhart on Twitter who said the local Fox affiliate has received “dozens of complaints.”

Eckhart wrote the irregularities are in “Jupiter County” which does not exist. She probably meant the town of Jupiter or Palm Beach County where Jupiter is located. Palm Beach County is where Trump’s Florida base Mar-a-Lago is located.

Florida fiasco: Trump 'left off' ballots, glitches, and high turn-out

Donald Trump may soon have another round of primary election victories under his belt despite technical glitches, delays and his name not being on the ballot at some polling stations in Florida.

Voters in the Orlando suburb of Apopka were turned away Tuesday morning because polling locations ran of out Republican ballots. Fox Business producer Jennifer Eckhart reported Trump’s name did not even appear on some ballots in the town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County.

“Hearing reports from friends in my home state of Florida that @realDonaldTrump is left OFF of voting ballots at various polling stations,” tweeted Eckhart.

The Gateway Pundit is an idiot.

Florida election officials said Tuesday that Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's name was not left off ballots in a town in South Florida, despite a small number of voter complaints.

Florida is a closed-primary state, which means only registered Republicans would get a ballot listing Trump and the other GOP candidates.

Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said that independent voters can't vote in the primary. Bucher said Tuesday that some residents in Jupiter, Florida who were voting in municipal elections complained when they didn't see Trump's name on the ballot. Bucher said none of the other presidential candidates were listed on those ballots either.

TV wise? I switch between CNN and Fox News. Trying to stay on the Channel going over the data vs talking panels.

Web site I use Politico.com. They have nice County level results.

It sounds like Florida has quite a few "low information" voters down there...

Rant- I still don't understand how a political party can hold a private vote for only its members and yet the public has to pay for it. It makes no sense.
