I suggest you read the criticism of Shirer, who is only a charlatan , a swollen-headed Liberal journalist .

No serious historian would advise a student to read something from Shirer .

A journalist is not a historian . A journalist is some one who is paid to fill empty space of a journal .

Trump isn't going to attack my right to free speech and practice of religion in the name of political correctness, Trump won't attack my right to bear arms, Trump won't try to redistribute my wealth and property, Trump won't try to enforce "social justice" and most importantly he won't appoint progressives to the Supreme Court, yet those are all things Hillary would do.

I vote first and foremost in favor of my constitutional rights and by its very nature the left's entire ideology is hostile to that. Their entire worldview is a threat to the Constitution and Republic as it was designed. The only time I would ever even consider voting for a left wing candidate of any kind is if the only alternative was even farther left or was an Islamist or something like that. With that in mind Hillary is the worst of them we've seen in decades. I'll take any and all of Trump's policies before I support a single one of hers. Her ilk have done enough damage in the past 80 some years. It only gets worse and faster over time too. Look at all the damage Obama has done in just 7 years. The economy sucks, the military is being strangled with almost 0 planning for the future, the social structure of the country is being twisted into some of the strangest things I've ever seen and racial tension is the worst its been in decades and the less said about Obamacare the better. They've done enough damage with their bleeding heart socialist nonsense and we don't need to add to it we need to gut it.

That said I don't want Trump to win. At this point I'd like to see Cruz get into the Whitehouse and cram a copy of the Constitution down the throats of everyone in Washington. I would only hold my nose and vote for Trump if I had to to keep Hillary and/or Bernie out.

Also you lost me at "fascist". Try to be an adult and don't abuse that word so ignorantly. No matter what you may think of Trump he isn't a fascist. Deporting criminal immigrants who have no right to be here is not the same as setting up death camps and his suggestions of what to so to IS are more in line with how we fought WWII than anything the Nazis did. Don't fall into the fear mongering hyperbole and through the "Nazi" buzzword around so easily. Makes you sound like a Russian propaganda troll. I'd like to think you're smarter than that.
Try to avoid being a neocon troll, it is in poor taste and I think that you are smarter than that. While you are it, after you have studied history as much as I have you will have a better idea of what Fascism is, while you are at it take the time to study the constitution. Get yourself a BA in history for starters, then work your way up to an MA, after that you can debate what Fascism is with me. I will point that you will still be behind the power curve when it comes to that subject because my family lived through Mussolini's Fascist Italy; you could say that my information comes from primary sources. Speaking of sources, you have not used any. However, since you think that me calling Trump a Fascist is hyperbole, I cannot think of any other candidate in recent memory that has gone out of his way to encourage violence at his rallies.....oh no, wait a minute, Mussolini comes to mind.

I detest all of them except for Kasich. And the odds of him getting in are very slim. There's still a historical precedent where a guy in last place was the only acceptable candidate.

Means there will he less damage to me that way and maybe some good will even come of it, while no good can ever come from Hillary and a generation of her liberal court justices.

The party and "GOP establishment" aren't to blame, the voters are. They are the ones who left us with these candidates. We started out with like 15 of them. Are you telling me you didn't like any of them? The voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, etc are responsible for brining us to this point.

I just don't understand the self-righteous protest voter mentality. "I don't like Trump/Cruz so I'm going to vote for somebody I hate even more. That'll show em!" No it won't, nobody will ever know your opinion and nobody will ever care. All that kind of attitude achieves is making sure somebody who is even less in line with you beliefs will win the election.

We vote for broad policies and philosophies, not the character and attitude of individuals. That all gets lost in the mess of government. I'd rather vote for a jerk who will defend my rights than a nice guy who smiles while he tears them all down.
That's pretty condescending. You think you know better than me what's right for me? Fine, though you've done a **** poor job of understanding what I think and believe. 'Like' is a poor choice of words for describing the situation. Its visceral, and lacks substance.

Furthermore, 'We' don't vote for anything. Individuals determine their criterion for voting. What you are talking about is group think. I don't subscribe to such tripe. My allegiance is to a country where individuals are free to make their own choices, not to a party that has no regard for the people supporting it.

Take note though, I'm not lecturing others on how to vote. I'm respecting their decision.

People are just not looking at personality here. Trump is about as far from being a loser like Hitler as you can get. If he is scary it is because of his ties to the liberal establishment as many hard core right wing types have suggested. Personally I'm not afraid of Liberals only progressives.

I was not doubting you that Carson had endorsed Trump. I was just surprised that he did.

This is the video I am talking about where Dr. Carson calls Trump "shiny".

It is around the 19 minute mark where Katie Couric asks trump to comment on the remaining candidates.

Me too, but it was a pleasant surprise.

I'd love to see a Trump/Carson ticket. It puts 2 outsiders on the inside and cuts way down on the GOP's incentive to assassinate Trump.
