Neutral as far as Republican primaries go, I can't even vote in the primary since I am a registered Democrat. However, when it comes to the general elecion, I will be biased against the lying hag of a criminal or the commie - whichever one get there. In the Democrat primary, I will vote for Sanders in protest against the undead bloodsucker, and also because I think Sanders will be more likely to lose against whichever Republican that gets there.

And Idiots on the left promised the same thing if George W would get re-elected (Alec Baldwin comes to mind) and they are still with us.

Your cartoon backfired - these are the same self-centered, ego-driven celebrities who said they would flee America when Obama was elected, yet here they are.

They didn't leave then and they're not leaving now.

    Perspective

Some 2 or so generations ago, large scale immigration into Canada from the US wasn't just a topic for speculation, it was very real ...

This started as a Perspective, but it morphed into something else. Since I didn't want to detract from Trump et.al. here, I posted it as "Draft Dodgers vs. Canadian Enlistments" on the Vietnam board:

    http://www.armchairgeneral.com/forum...d.php?t=168192

U.S. Vietnam war draft dodgers left their mark on Canada ...

Trump's political career is based off of throwing **** at a wall and seeing what sticks. If it does, he runs with it. If something garners enough criticism he'll backtrack and tell the people what they want to hear. One week he's emphatically behind mandated health care on the tax payers dime, once people pointed out how socialist that was he changed his tone.

How is that bargaining? How are you in a better position to repeal Obamacare when the dems have you on record of being in favor of the system?

One year he's in favor of stricter gun laws, now he's not.

What type of bargaining was he doing when he switched to the democratic party?

This is nothing more than the mark of a coward imo. Coward's say they want to kill unarmed civilians. Cowards switch parties 3 times. Cowards violate freedoms and civil liberties in an attempt to shield their selves from what they fear.

We knew exactly what we were getting with Obama. He campaigned for universal health care and energy reform. Once in office he acted on both. The merit and effectiveness of his stances is a separate discussion. This notion that I shouldn't vote based on a candidates stated policies is a terrible argument to try to make.

That is what negotiations are all about. I am in business and I have lied about hating a product to get a better price as well as exaggerating a problem in order to return products that don't sell. I always start out with prices far higher than I would actually take and see what I can get for it each time. I will sell the same item to 10 people on the say day for 10 different prices. It's all business and I have even told customers that I will take from them as much as I can. Haggling is an art and the best at it are the ones that tell you that they are going to f**k you at the very start.
To each his own. Either way, the position of president is entirely different from that of CEO. A president can't use inhumane rhetoric as some sort of bargaining chip. Now if he was a dictator, different story. But, we should have higher standards for US President. But again, he hasn't backed down regarding civilians and I can't assume that he will.

You are just looking for reasons to dislike him. I am neutral because I will vote for anyone other than a commie and lying criminal bitch. I was actually cheering for Rubio until he became a dick that he really isn't, while Trump is an admitted dick and proud of it.
You can't say that you're neutral when you clearly have a bias against Clinton. Nothing wrong with that bias, but you're not neutral. The same way you feel about Hillary is the same way I feel about anyone who wouldn't fully uphold the constitution. That disdain then becomes louder when said person is also extremely divisive.

I'm not looking for reasons to hate Trump as doing so doesn't benefit my life in the least. I wish Trump was a great candidate, I wish there wasn't any significant reason for me to dislike him. I wish I didn't have to. I wish my vote wasn't going to be wasted on a third party with no chance of winning. I want to vote Republican and be able to make a difference this election, but I can't sacrifice core American values in the process.

I was watching a BBC program and they did a poll and 40 percent of the British audience thought that Marx was right. If you want an example of a vile human being you may look into the personal life of Marx.

Liberals don't care about character as long as the person in question doesn't threaten their dogma.

I already cover the issue of "kill their" families and as a practical matter since Obama's drone strikes kill innocent bystanders 90 percent of the time he must be a very low form of life indeed because not only is he a murder but he must be a hypocrite as well. When people report on Trump's statement they conveniently forget that it was in reference to terrorist using human shields. If you tell them you don't care they may stop being such low lifes.

Is this supposed to be a good trait? One, I can't trust someone who switches their stances by the day. Two, it doesn't show he can stand firm in his beliefs (weak) if he's willing to consistently succumb to political pressure. Three, to my knowledge this is one of the few things he hasn't backed down on.
