  • East Chicago councilman takes oath of office while behind bars

    Despite being arrested on drug and murder charges, an East Chicago city councilman was re-elected to his office in Tuesday’s elections. (DemoCrook party of course)

    Surprised?

    Although East Chicago is officially located in Indiana, there's something about the word Chicago that brings out the wonder of politicians.

          Because many people vote for the party instead of the person.

            Somehow, that should be funny...but sadly it isn't.

            Oh well...he would have ended up there anyway.

            "Chicago": see also "corruption".

            I think "Chicago" is an old Indian word for "evil white man".

              In this case he ran unopposed. All he needed was for someone to vote for him at all...

                Is he one of Obama's pals? I would imagine so.

                    He's in jail, not prison. Hasn't been found guilty yet.

                    So therefore he's innocent at this point.

                      No it's not. Read the OP.
                      “The time has come,” the Walrus said,
                      “To talk of many things:
                      Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
                      Of cabbages—and kings—
                      And why the sea is boiling hot—
                      And whether pigs have wings.”
