Yes he has. His Atlantic City properties went into bankruptcy protection either two or three times. Things in Atlantic City really went to pot when, after choosing to super-saturate the AC casino market, three of Trump's top finance men died in a helicopter crash. After their deaths, the banks turned on Trump, basically forcing him to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Guess after the real professionals left the scene, the banks tired of Trump's bluster and hucksterism.

Trump has spent a lifetime building things and making them work.
Without government twisting law and reality, Trump couldn't have built a hot dog stand. Who got the City fathers to rezone all that land on the Upper West Side? Think Trump doesn't know a thing or ten about greasing palm?

And what has he built? Casinos and luxury apartment buildings? No office buildings, no affordable housing like his father, no industrial spaces, but high end and clip joints. Trump is to building what cosmetic surgeons are to health care.

Not inner circle? Big time real estate don't happen what you're not on the inside, very inside.

Pat Buchanan can stake a better claim at political outsider-ism than Trump ever could. It amazes me no end how people see in this carnival barker what they want to see in him, despite the fact that his career has been front-page public for better than three and a half decades.

What amazes me is that nothing sticks to him.

His enemies in both parties attack him and the media always seems to portray him in a negative light, but none of it matters.
      He remains popular.
The key to beating Trump is you need to be a trash talker. He basically taking what guys do every day and using it as his main tactic in the election.

The guy who usually wins a trash talking contest is the one who will lean in the furtherest. It basically a political version of your momma jokes.

        A valid point.

So, what? Are you saying that Trump killed them?
          I don't get it.
But you are the only New Yorker I have encountered that hates him.

Okay, so he's not the ignoramus that the media has been painting him as, on and off, for the last 6 months.
There goes the idea that he has no idea what he is doing, eh?

Yeah, and until the second he started running, most of it was positive.
Sorry, I won't do the Pavlov Dog thing for all the talking heads, I'm just too tired anyway.

Before he made counsel at Miner Barnhill, Barack Obama allowed his law license to lapse. Among Miner Barnhill's specialties is real estate development: residential and commercial. Obama's value to the firm was not as a litigator, but as a lobbyist. For eight years we've had the hired gun in the White House. The irony that he might be succeeded by a potential client is too rich to ignore.

To be honest I'm not really in a position to say for sure. I would say many of the sources seemed certainly credible especially one of our journalists who dealt with him in the 90's. Was a tad concerning .

I'm not overly familiar with why she gets such hate but Trump worries me in that he seems flippant about the realities of what he says. A wall with Mexico and kicking Isis ass etc. It's all sounds cathartic to certain people and I'm the last person who thinks mainstream government hasn't screwed up big time but I never trust anyone who sells " easy answers"

Hillary is hated and feared because she is both an old-school leftist and also a veteran political infighter. She is the sort who will get things done, and her agenda is extremely left-wing.

Hey I'm down with a wall to fence off our southern border. Claymores included. Mexico seems inclined to send the most villainous people here. Let's close the border and shoot those inclined to violate it. Problem solved...

She gets so much hate because people that have known her for more than a couple of decades now know exactly what she is and not what she claims to be, she is a billionaire who claims to be an ordinary everyday person, she is a foulmouthed witch (in private), a very accomplished liar , extremely politically ambitious and deems herself as entitled.
Trump IMHO is just what Slick Miester called him just a Carnival Barker, I have watched him for two and a half decades and why people buy in to his BS is beyond me.

An interesting electoral choice you're going to have later this year then. How has it come to this ?
