  • Would Palin's wayward son benefit by becoming one of her US 'warriors'?

    Just a thought
About political hypocrites who are always so eager to put other people's sons and daughters in harm's way.

If anything she probably needs to get someone to kick his butt!

If you have avoided the draft you do have some Gaul to be an ardent proponent of a war.

President Wilson or President Washington....which one are you talking about?

The only President that we have had that avoided the draft was President Clinton.

We haven't had a President whose last name began with a 'W' in 90 years. They don't teach much history in Canada, do they? Or basic English?

Chaney was 4-F his entire life due to a lifelong heart condition; he didn't 'evade' anything.

BTW, were you part of Canada's combat deployments?
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

That has to be a record: a lodestar thread exposed as pure nonsense by post #2.

                        You have won the thread!

                          Not even close.

The credibly of that link is doubtful in the extreme.

                              Please describe exact how so?

                              Straight from this story:

                              http://www.politifact.com/new-jersey...-cheney-donal/

Men who received a draft notice in the mail had about three weeks to return paperwork requesting a hearing for a deferment, Selective Service System spokesman Pat Schuback said. A local draft board then decided whether to grant the waiver.

"For the Vietnam war and World War II, any time there was a draft, there were classifications of deferments," Schuback said. "If you were eligible for it, you were entitled to claim that deferment."

That’s what happened to the men targeted by Liberals are Cool, according to military classification histories that the Selective Service System shared with us, as well as other public records and published reports.
Funny, you're calling into question a report debunking a liberal groups claim that certain Conservatives were draft dodges.... Very good. Keep it up.

New low, attack the source not the info and do so with a simple "I don't like it" rather that a factual attack on the source.
