A couple of weeks ago, Bernie Sanders tweeted a msg saying that he guarantee that his Supreme Court nominees will make overturning Citizens United one of their first decisions.

I didn't know that the SCOTUS can be ordered to review a previous decision to see if it was wrongly decided.

I trust Bernie more. But I must admit, he has a high probability of croaking soon.

It's an inherent hypocrisy to nearly all political and social thought.

Sorta like when someone is intolerant of intolerant people - there's a deep irony there that is understandable, yet still amusing.

In politics this mostly boils down to "rights aren't absolute". Hence second amendment hypocrites fight for their right to possess handguns while denying my right to nuclear missiles and Stingers, or first amendment hypocrites protect burning a flag but not libel or the dreaded "fire in a theater" shout.

One doesn't have to tolerate Nazism or Marxism on a personal level to still be a rational or logical being. That those extremists love to act the victim (well, everyone loves to be a martyr, hence CMS) when not treated the same as non-authoritarian ideologies is quite funny.

Ah, he said his appointments would be based on those that would support overturning Citizens United.

You read something into his comments that isn't there.

Possibly. This is his comment below. This is why I came to my conclusion.

My take is that his nominations well have the same POV on closing down Citizens United or he would not nominated them in the first place.

If Liberals Care About The Poor Then Why Did Bernie Sanders DO THIS To The Homeless?

In a really remarkable incident that pretty much confirms all the things that conservatives have ever said about liberals, a Democratic presidential hopeful showed how much he really cares about the homeless!
                    From Alabama Media Group:
With temperatures in Birmingham expected to dropped to 20 overnight Monday — the lowest temperature thus far in 2016 — the place where the city’s homeless usually go to seek shelter from the cold was unavailable.
Boutwell Auditorium, typically used as a warming station in such situations, was not available Monday night because presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders spoke to a crowd of thousands. Factoring in wind chill, it was expected to feel more like 15 degrees on the streets of Birmingham.
Last week, the auditorium housed about 300 people a night when it served as a warming station for three nights.
“We’ve never had a night like this where it will be in the teens and we weren’t able to open,” said Don Lupo, of the mayor’s office of citizen’s assistance.
Here’s the Facebook post from Don Lupo where he angrily commented on the event:

Well the Republican candidates sure as hell believe so. God knows how many times they've promised to overturn both Roe v. Wade and Obergefell v. Hodges.

Honestly that's an issue I wish they would drop. As much as I find abortion deplorable in the extreme it isn't an issue that I see changing any time soon. Fighting that loosing battle does nothing but cost votes. The Democrats are in a similar situation with gun control actually.

I'm surprised that young NH women voters are supporting Bernie Sanders. This is huge. It means Hillary will most likely lose NH.

Last week, Hillary unveiled her "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantsuits." The group consist of EMILY's List President Stephanie Schriock, Lily Ledbetter, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. They will be traveling with her to campaign stops.

This is her desperate move to get back women voters. In 2008, Clinton won the NH primary with female votes. She won NH with 46% to Obama’s 34%.
