One site made note of the fact that Cruz is hispanic and wondered why it was suddenly ok to portray minorities as animals.
To say nothing of attacking kids.

Thats an offensive and uncalled for article. When Christmas is only a few days away folks should be nice to each other, what the author of the cartoon did was not nice.

Yes, how dare they insult Cruz's children during the most sacred commercial holiday of the year..

Frankly, if you turn your family into a political prop, they become fair game. Don't like it - don't politicize them.

If that were Obama's daughters, there would be calls for the lynching of the cartoonist, screaming of "Racist" by the usuals, and a massive Federal investigation of the publishing company that printed it.

Democrats will certainly pull far worst on the Republican candidate next Summer and get away with it especially if that candidate happens to be Ben Carson.

When has there ever been "a massive Federal Investigation" of a publishing company that printed negative cartoons about Obama?

Besides I thought everyone here hated 'PC Culture' and were supporting Trump. Now you're all acting like a bunch of Safe Space Progressives.

If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander I'd say.

When have the Obama's made their children performers for a political campaign? That's a criticism far more aptly leveled at the Clinton's than at the Obama's: they've always had that ugly kid of theirs front-and-center, so any jabs aimed at her have never caused any angst as far as I'm concerned.

More to the point: has Ted Cruz made a point of trotting out his children? Truth be told I've not been paying close attention to Cruz's campaign, but if he has been doing that, then they're fair game too. The organ grinder portrayal, however, might be a little below the belt, at least since Fiorello La Guardia banned them from the streets: they were stereotypecally linked with "dumb Dagos."

It was done to Palin's children during the previous campaign by Obama's crowd.

The fact is that politics is a dirty business and politicians are dirty people, nd the Democrats are dirtier than most.

The person who drew the cartoon is open to be praised or criticized. The Cruz cartoon is IMO in poor taste, because the kids are depicted as Monkeys..Imagine if Obamas kids were depicted as Monkeys.

I frankly wish they would do away with the whole concept of a first family. We don't elect a family we elect an individual.

It is perfectly acceptable for liberals to cross the line when they do so to slander a conservative.
Did any liberal news agency criticize Alec Baldwin when he called Sara Palin a sack of meat?
Or when numerous liberals called Justice Thomas an Uncle Tom ?
Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.

Uncle Tom is one of those perfectly acceptable racial epithets, I'm guessing because it not only degrades its target for being black, but it assumes that he suffers some kind of moral failing, as well. In my opinion, it's more insidious than the "N-word."

While I don't like the use of children in ads, the kids can't defend themselves. They aren't making the decisions to be in the ads.
What adult could ever justify launching such a personal attack on a child?
Who cares if we can come up a reason that makes us feel better about attacking a child? Adults, should be above doing things like that.

If one side's kids are left alone, the same should be true for the other side, even if they are republicans.
