If those are my only two choices, then Rubio. The Clintons are as corrupt and venal as the Mafia ever was, and Shrillary specializes in getting government employees killed and then covering it up.

      My choice: Rubio.

It will be funny to see the Democrats whining how he doesn't have experience, etc.

Kasich as VP for the R's, don't know about the D's, but a white-bread white male with a good military record, I would think. I have a gut feeling that if there is someone like that from California the Dems would go that way.

Will they whine differently from their usual, because otherwise I won;t be able to tell the difference.

Between Clinton and a pile of leaves, I would vote for the pile of leaves. Between Clinton and Rubio, that hardly qualifies as a choice. It is like being offered steak for dinner or a steaming pile of horse crap.

I wonder what the forum's reaction will be when Hillary eventually wins?

On a serious note, they're both terrible. It's a choice of bad vs. worse.

My reaction will be...... it's what I expected, once it became clear she would be the nominee. Which wasn't clear until Biden announced he wasn't running.

The republicans to win will have to win almost all or all the contested states. Rubio and Kasich makes an excellent start, with Florida and Ohio. And of course Rubio as an Hispanic will help in contested states like NM and CO.

That said, the Republicans cannot fall into that Romney 47% crap again.

                  My vote neither, I don't vote R or D.

That said I think Sen Rubio would win in this case. The "Dems have had it long enough" i.e. 2 terms, factor would kick in and he'd win with a fairly easy margin. Think about like the last election just flip the parties.

Thats what most people seem to forgot. It's very hard for either party to win the presidency 3 times in a row. The only time that's happened since FDR was Bush Sr and he was riding Reagan's coattails. The undecided tend to vote against the establishment in favor of change, regardless of what it is.

Hillary also isn't as strong a candidate as people seem to think. She does well with the base but does poorly nationally as she's popularly seen as untrustworthy and her name has dynastic implications as most Americans don't want to see another Clinton or Bush in the white house. That's why the democrats wanted Biden to run so badly, they don't really have any strong candidates. Right now they're stuck with baggage filled Hillary and a socialist who is far too radical to have a chance nationally.

Add to that the fact that Rubio is one of the best positioned candidates to compete with her.

                        Unlikable.

'Unlikeable is the stunning, powerful exposé of Hillary Clinton and her floundering race for the White House. With unprecedented access to longtime associates of the Clintons and the Obamas, investigative reporter Edward Klein meticulously recreates conversations and details of Hillary Clinton's behind-the-scenes plotting in Chappaqua and Whitehaven. Klein, the former editor in chief of New York Times Magazine and a contributing editor to Vanity Fair, draws a deeply troubling portrait of Hillary Rodham Clinton, a highly unlikeable presidential candidate and a woman more associated with scandal than with accomplishments, with lying than with truth, with arrogance than with compassion.'

Why would anyone want another, and even worse, Richard Nixon-like Hillary as President?

The only way I'd vote for Hillary is if somehow I had to choose between Obama and Hillary. In that case only she'd get my vote...after which I'd jump the fence into Mexico and become that rare thing, a southbound illegal immigrant.

Hell, if she were able to pull a Nixon she'd get praise from me.

For being a scumbag, Nixon at least knew his foreign policy.
