  • The fix is in!

I see where Hillary is setting up the "sheeple" for the "hearings" on the Bengazi "incident".

To whit; She is stating that the committee is primarily made up of Republicans... therefore she is being questioned to make her "run" for the Presidency look bad. The Republicans, of course, deny it. (But HER folks are saying "Yeah! The bad guys are out to get her!" Not giving it a second thought.)

Who knows, they might be right!

The beauty of the whole thing is that no matter what comes out of this "hearing", she will have covered her bases.... her supporters will, of course, agree that she is being "set up" by the committee and nothing they "find" will count, as it is a lie (at worst) or a means by which she will not look responsible enough to be President (at best).

They COULD have made the committee up of mostly Democrats, but then she would have come out of it smelling like a rose! (Damned if you do.... etc.)

Net score: The ones who support her, still support her. (Duh!)

Which means we will have another "do gooder" in The White House. (Possibly.)

I can't rule out a Republican win..... but a "character" as President!? Oy Vey!

The way to make her look bad at the hearing is to get her angry, finger pointing, and demanding while asking what appear to be reasonable questions. Better, get Democrats on the committee to do some "shoe pounding" and other theatrics too.

The more the Republicans can turn this into a Democrat political circus the better for them.

I'm not saying the above is right or fair, I'm saying it works to make the Democrats look like raving fools.

That results in one of two outcomes: The whole issue disappears in the media as it makes the Democrats look bad, or the Democrats look bad in the media.

Didn't a Republican leader just admit the Republicans were doing this to hurt her campaign?

Yes, but he wasn't on that committee and the Committee told him to STFU because he didn't know what he was talking about.

One guy working on the committee was fired (he sued over this) for having partisan views (he was a very conservative Republican / TEA Party type and senior US military reserve officer).

...look how many smilies I used!

The Bengazi hearings will be nothing more than conservative posturing at this point. They could always hire a 'spoiler' to ruin Clinton's chances. Then again, the Donald is still out ahead of the pack on the R side....
Looks to be an interesting year to come.

Unfortunately, all of the people who could "spoil" a Clinton election run are dead...

I rather think that that was the very point they were trying to make....

No, that is becoming a widespread meme regarding Shrillary. The Nixon comparisons are increasing.

It just gets worse for Shrillary. When even MSN is writing columns like this one, she's in serious trouble...

                          http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinio...ate/ar-AAfCdnD

At the first Democratic debate last week, Hillary Clinton sent a message to doubters: "Crushed it!" Cancel the future debates. Let's start picking her cabinet. She's got this.

Hate to spoil the party, everyone. But Hillary did not make herself queen last week.

Conventional wisdom, like the above from last week, is like a traditional soufflé in a microwave. Instant, tasteless, likely to collapse any minute. Yes, Clinton can unite her party. Especially when the other options are an avowed socialist, a former Republican senator, a former Reagan official who smiles at the thought of killing on the battlefield, and a former Maryland governor who built a cops-and-incarceration résumé and ran in the exact year when those politics seem cruelly out of date.

But did last week change any of her problems...?

Clinton has never beaten a first-class opponent. And nothing in her recent campaign should cause us to forget it.
