If they were that horny, I doubt that they noticed anything at all.

And today a 'member' (pun intentional) of the US Marshall's Service was photographed having sex on a courthouse roof.

We want it used against child predators and rapists - people who will actively go out to harm others.

We're not necessarily looking to have it applied to the drunk who urinated in an alley without noticing the three children watching him.

Should this "couple" be punished? Oh, most certainly. But what has been expressed is that being registered sex offenders sorta loses its meaning when it is applied so broadly.

I don't see how ignorance of the exact nature of the statute is all that important. What most people are discussing is the general effectiveness of the system in preventing sex crimes. That doesn't mean the statutes don't need careful examination but that has to come after an assessment of the relative threat posed by various types of behavior to society.

People want more bang for their buck from the judicial system and it would be nice if you would enlighten us with a few ideas.

I have a friend that bought some juvenile red-ear slider turtles in Mexico and got caught with them at the boarder.

US Customs calls US Fish and Wildlife. US Fish and Wildlife calls US Health which has a ban on these turtles that has a shell carapace under 4'' long due to some madman's idea that a turtle with a shell of less than 4' can fit into a child's mouth. The carapace is the top of the shell. The Health Dept guys measured the bottom of the shells which is always shorter that the top and came in short instead of being just over the minimum.

Turtles confiscated by Fish and Wildlife and charges were brought by both Customs and F&W. Both of those agencies has been brought under the US Homeland Security umbrella since 9/11.

End results were a hefty fine...doing community service working for US Department of Forestry...and getting placed on the NO FLY LIST.

All that for turtles that you can buy in a seafood market because as a food in can be sold under four inches although just about everyone shopping at a food market is usually looking for larger ones for food. You can find the really small ones at flea markets and lots of people have them. Most of us had one at some time when we were kids.

It is insane how government and LEO agencies sometimes work.
Be prepared to be demonized as a progressive/fascist/communist for daring to criticize the system.

While this has happened, the radicals in San Francisco still get away with gross public nudity. (direct links get removed by the mods.)

Look up "How Berkley Can You Be," "Up Your Alley Fair," "Folsom Street Fair," "Naked Bicycle Tour." You will find warnings in the links before you actually go to the links.

Because they're envisioning the typical porn scenario of two beautiful people, an isolated white-sand beach, topaz-blue sea...

Let's not forget the old days when if you got convicted of wagging your wang at a kid you had to go door-to-door in your neighborhood and warn all the residents...that was back under Reagan and Bush Sr.

I assume that all our conservatives with their newly found support of sexual acts and freedom would have no problem with this is it were two Gay men going at it... right?

    Good to know.

Now that the concept of common sense no longer applies to the inJustice System, it is the most useful weapon that Evil can possible have at their disposal.
