The fact that a judge issued an injunction does speak volumes. It strongly suggests that the article has credibility issues. Injunctions are not issued lightly.

Could be or they’re trying to muddy up the waters we’ll find out soon enough.

        • Just to update.
The Trudeau “sex scandal” was fake news.
No injunction, no Globe story just gullible people on social media again.
          https://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/...ction-scandal/

Numerous media outlets who investigated find no evidence to back it up. Note also that a number of people who helped spread the initial rumour (DiFiore, Kinsella) are also backing away from it.

ahhh the power of internet ....

              ....
Thanks for the link, a good example of poor journalism.

Here's the subtitle of the article:
"How the Conservative party took an unfounded internet rumour and ran with it"

              Which is FAKE NEWS.

He even admits it in the article
Conservative Party of Canada, issuing a press release that asked the question: Why did Trudeau leave West Point Grey?

"What's the real reason? Why has his story changed so many times?" it asked.

While the release didn't mention sex, it pointed the way for anyone to go online and find the unsubstantiated rumour themselves.
Where did the Conservative presser mention the "unfounded rumour"?
How did it "point the way"?

Do they think that people don't know how to use Google?

Given Trudeau's questionable behavior/honesty in the Lavelin affair, and the fact that Trudeau has given various explanations, it's not unreasonable to ask if he was let go for blackface or some other inappropriate behavior

                • I can’t post the link right now but the number of votes in the advanced votes is 25% higher then in 2015 which is most likely good news for the Conservatives because high numbers of the advanced votes means that voters want change.

                      Tuesday morning quarterbacking:

the conservative attack ads were a major error.
the Trudeau government had enough concerns that focusing on them would have tipped the election, and delving into the dirt, or blackface( and faked sexual assaults, etc.) turned off the undecided support base. It's the second election in a row when they tried the negative emotional strategies- and slipped.

Yeah i'm glad the negative campaigning didn't work. The election underscored national unity problems which has always been a concern in Canada with the separatist surge in Quebec and western alienation showing in the seat results. Trudeau made a terrible speech last night not addressing this and making his speech at the same time as Sheer's concession speech. Personally I'd like the Liberals to dump Trudeau. Chrystina Freeland would be my choice or possibly Mark Carney whose showed interest in the past.

At least we would have another individual who understood economics.

Stephen Harper, for all his faults, real or perceived, was at least able to balance the books.

                            • This article makes some interesting points:

                              https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/elect...Pvy?li=AApb0iu

The pipeline issue is a good chance for a Conservative/Liberal bi-partisan initiative that would play well in the West.

Will be interesting to see how the Bloc plays ball in Parliament with its cyclical resurgence.

And we finally may have seen the death of Doug Ford's federal political aspirations and Bernier's new project.
