The full story is there were six copters following a convoy of cartel members, they were going to ambush them.

This will be happening right here very soon, mark my words.
I was thinking Colombia. That place was a grey area though. The cartels, the rebels, often one and the same.

There has been a tradition of Bandits in the Columbian mountains for a long time. The Drug Cartels are relatively new. What the Cartels did was hire the bandits to protect their laboratories and keep the Columbian Army away. The Bandits are still into kidnapping anyone that looks wealthy as well. If you look well fed, you are considered rich!

Mexican government disagrees. Unlike the Judicial Watch report, they actually provided a source with a name. An actual minister no less. Even the borderline cases at the Moonie Times managed to find this, though they tacked it on to a story that repeated the unsubstantiated claims verbatim. In the nature of these things, an unsourced claim will become the 'fact' to many, while the official denial will be brushed off.

Maybe the Texas Governor will mobilize his army of Jedi Knights to deal with the threat.

Mexican authorities, however, disputed the Judicial Watch findings.

“The government of Mexico dismisses and categorically denies each of the statements made today by the organization Judicial Watch on the alleged presence of ISIS’s operating cells throughout the border region, particularly at Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua - El Paso, Texas,” Ariel Moutsatsos-Morales, Mexico’s minister for press and public affairs, told The Washington Times.

“The relevant authorities operating in the region have also confirmed the inexistence of these activities with their US counterparts, with whom they will continue to work closely and to exchange information at our common border,” Moutsatsos-Morales added.

Sounds a bit like their friends up north. And don't forget former and current military.

The Mexican government is very trustworthy huh? ISIS just announced they have members planted in western nations ready to strike.
Today the U.S. military raised the threat level to domestic bases, maybe they know something the Mexican gov. doesn't

Compared to 'unnamed sources' on a single right wing website - yep. Every day of the week. Things don't magically become true because you want them to be.

ISIS just a lived announced they have members planted in western nations ready to strike.
Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Doesn't qualify as proof that there are camps in Mexico (which I'm not sure is even part of 'the West'). A bunch of Muslims wandering about Mexico are going to get noticed....by people with actual names and ranks.

Today the U.S. military raised the threat level to domestic bases, maybe they know something the Mexican gov. doesn't
I'm betting the US military knows an absolute ton of stuff about the US that Mexico doesn't. I'm also betting the Mexican government knows a ton of stuff about Mexico that the US military (and the right wing blogsphere) doesn't. As this is about Mexico I'm going to go with the experts - Mexico.

If you have actual proof bring it and I'll cheerfully admit I'm wrong. Until then this is just more made up ****.

Here's something I noticed about groups like Judicial Watch. They take bits of real info and turn them into something they aren't.

It is up to the person making the claim to offer proof and the more extraordinary the claim, the more extraordinary the proof required. Government ministers being untrustworthy is not proof. Feel free to provide some.

You do realise that that article is talking about the drug cartels in Mexico and not ISIS right?

Here you go, from a slightly more trustworthy source.

This has been common knowledge in the US, that the border is used by folks all over the world. Nothing new here. If you need anything else, search it yourself.

Remember, you were the one making the claim that nothing is happening. That is the extraordinary claim. Let's see some proof.
