There's no need to get survival gears and food in preparation of some massive chaos waiting to happen. If you are a born-again Christian, then the only thing you need to worry about is the Rapture which can occur at anytime. Of course, that only applies to born-again Christians who believe in pre-millennial and pre-tribulation doctrines.

Pre-millennial = Christ returns in His Second Coming to establish His millennial kingdom which lasts 1,000 years.

Pre-tribulation = All born-again Christians are raptured before the Tribulation begins, considered to be the absolute worst time period ever experienced in the history of mankind from time immemorial until that time. No born-again Christian will remain on the Earth during this time period.
And if the Rapture happens 500 years from now and between now and that time a large disaster happens you'll not be ready for it?
“The time has come,” the Walrus said,
    “To talk of many things:
    Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
    Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
    And whether pigs have wings.”
    ― Lewis Carroll

So some Christians aren't as good as others because they had the audacity to be born right the first time?
