Understandable. Europe is well to the Left of the US politically.

So, once the Hussein has served his purpose and no longer has the reigns of power in his hands, to hell with him, eh?
Just throw him to the wolves and let 'em chow down.

Now that I think about it, I can't imagine why that would surprise me.

Ghosts writers aren't that unusual for politicians. Although Dubya broke new ground since he also required a ghost reader.

Page #1: Took the Oath of Office.

Page 2: Played golf a lot while not doing a damned thing useful.

    Page #3: Left office.

Yeah...three pages will do it quite nicely.

This poll was pretty much directed at Americans (obviously). I doubt anyone reasons that furriners would much give a damn for U.S. domestics.

Course not. You're not stuck with him. Obama after the presidency is like having dog all over your shoes. You don't want to wear them anymore but you don't want them in the house, either.

Well, one thing is almost certain...

Obama will take being an ex-President to lows never seen before.

    Ah, the sensible option.

How long have you been on these forums again ?

There are people here who really think he's a Socialist, and not just a President who promised much and delivered nothing.

I've seen Nixon (a crook), Ford (a disaster), Carter (should've stuck to peanuts), Reagan (a failed actor with three working brain cells), Bush I (anonymous), Clinton (couldn't keep his trousers zipped) Bush II (an idiot), and now Obama (a failure).

[To be fair, we've had Heath (an incompetent), Wilson (a man of principle), Callaghan (a clown), Thatcher (unprintable), Major (who ?), Blair (a war-mongering b*st*rd), Brown, and Cameron (just b*st*rds).]

I'm beginning to believe that anyone can become President, I just wish they'd pick someone intelligent and competent - although a pinch of genuine Socialism wouldn't come amiss.
