"England expects that every man will do his duty!" (English crew members had better get ready for a tough fight against the combined French and Spanish fleets because that's what England expects! However, Scotland, Wales and Ireland appear to expect nothing so the Scottish, Welsh and Irish crew members can relax below decks if they like!)

That is, the anthropogenic CO2 is the cause has become gospel much like the Earth is the center of the universe was centuries ago. We simply don't know enough about the planetary environment to eliminate other potential causes for sure. I trot out jet contrails as one. Climate researchers weren't even looking at these as a potential cause until 9/11 suddenly gave the NOAA solid data on what happens when you have none over the US for a week. Now it's taken seriously as a potential cause, although some true believers are trying as hard as they can to deny it, much like the Earth is the center of the universe believers did. After all, it challenges their core beliefs of a lifetime. That can be hard to swallow for some.
there is proof for the jet contrail theory. After 9.11, when the North \American air fleet was essentially grounded, temperatures dropped significally.https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/climatec...hallenged.html

''''''''''''''''''''''however, instead of banning air travel, we can have airlines do offsets by injecting sulphate aerosols into the lower stratosphere, which we know from volcanic studies offsets the greenhouse effect.

Likewise, instead of recycling most plastics into rather questionable products, we can fluidise plastics by heating without oxygen, then burning the gases for heat.. \this has been proven to clean burn without dioxins, plus raise the heat of the burn for biofuel, making for a much cleaner burn. 'Gasification provides a much greater yield at much lower cost for plastics recycling. The ideal model for our times is simply to get as much plastic as possible out of the environment.

\A lot of the recycling effort aims for the perfect - at the expense of the good.

So which of those 401 are you referring?
Or do we have to wait for you to have your sixth year birthday to be more precise and specific?

Sorry was out on jogging and copy/pasting on my phone is a pain.

Pointing out someones mistake is not an Ad Hominem.

You stated that no research was done on contrails prior top 9/11...My article from 1998 proves that is bullshit.

You then somehow managed misinterpret my response, bad reading.

You can also simply have the planes fly higher or lower and take modified routes to avoid forming them to begin with.

                      • Well, the cold weather has hit. Hundreds of temperature records fell in the northern third of the country. Up to a foot of snow has fallen in areas that normally don't get any snow in November. Temperatures here have hit a nigh time low of the single digits F. several days in a row. There are still 2,000 acres of sugar beets still in the field along with a lot of the corn and soybean crop.

So, if you still are brainwashed about CO2 Global Warming being the problem, I suggest that you pay a visit to the Midwest and Northeast, get out of that nice warm transportation of yours, and spend a day and night outside.

                          • climate and weather are not the same
Weather is the day-to-day state of the atmosphere, and its short-term variation in minutes to weeks. People generally think of weather as the combination of temperature, humidity, precipitation, cloudiness, visibility, and wind. ... Climate is the weather of a place averaged over a period of time, often 30 years.

we have this same discussion many times before.
