New Site - PLEASE READ

Hello All,
My name is Ashley and I am the one that moved the forum to its new hosting location. This was done for security reasons and try to keep the forum from going down every other day. I understand that the new forum looks very different from the old one but I promise almost everything you had before you still have it might just be in a different place.

Items that are gone due to a limitation of the new hosting/ forum update:
- Awards
- Flags

As I was going thought your posts I was able to fix a lot fo the issues you were listing. Below is kind of a running list of issues an what is fixed and what I am still working on.

Items that I have fixed from your comments:
- Smilie are now working.
- Color/Theme changes
- Signature are now showing up. (Here is how to edit them https://screencast.com/t/OJHzzhiV1)
- Ranking is now showing up.
- Private messaging is now working.

Some issues I am still working on are:
- Missing items from the Calendar
- Like button the posts is giving an error.

One other note I have seen a lot is theme/color related items. I know this is important to all of you but at the moment the most important thing was getting you back a functioning forum with as many features I can get you back from before.

Theme/color is something we can change but it the moment I do not have the time and resources to fix all of the issue and design the site. I did do some theme updates yesterday but it is very time consuming. Please just be patient with the forum as we get it back to as close as I can to what you had before.

If anyone has any issues that they are running in to please let me know in the post below. Please give me as much detail as possible .

Why is it that everyone on the Left always says they don't support communism/Socialism, but they make every excuse they can for all those failures every chance they get?

The other OPEC nations were conned or strong-armed into this over-production scheme because the King of Sucky Arabia wants to bankrupt the Frakking industry.
Once they do that, they will slash production overnight and the prices will more than triple.
    That's the plan, anyway.
Somebody might want to explain something to those 3rd-world cuckoos; even if they go under, the infrastructure will reman in place... unless our Govt destroys it deliberately.

    Thank god Trump is running...

Of course our embargo played no role in the Cuban economy.

Thank God Trump is like an icicle in hell.

The left thinks that's a legitimate excuse to why communist Cuba doesn't thrive they're free to trade with anyone else and more American tourists going to Cuba isn't going to save their economy until they get out of a socialist economic system they only have themselves to blame for a poor economy.
Other Communist party run countries have figured that out already.

Good point; now watch ... this sorry excuse we currently have in the WH is going to pay Cuba "reparations" after apologizing over and over and over. Pathetic.

He hates Americans that's what guides his decision making.
He's by far the worst President you've ever had or probably will but nobody thought that after FDR and Carter so it could happen again.

Only if they were ready to suffer the wrath of the US economy no longer being friendly to their business.

The humorous part of Obama's opening up to Cuba is that in the long run it will hasten the downfall of the dictatorship and Communism / Socialism there.

In one sense, Obama's cozying up to the Castro brothers underscores just how failed his belief in Leftist dogma really is.

This is not a joke nor even an exaggeration. I just found out that my sister in law's other brother-in-law was arrested in Venezuela at the airport while trying to leave the country. His crime, he was an employee for a company that went out of business. Waiting for more? There isn't any. Maduro has decreed that any business that goes out of business has committed economic treason and its employees are subject to arrest. They had already arrested numerous owners and managers but this is the first time they went after rank and file worker bees.

That is mostly untrue. There was hardly any pressure on our trading partners since the 1980's. British Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell and Clyde Petroleum have been there for almost three decades.

American Coca-Cola and American cigarettes have always been available there. Cuban computers ran on Microsoft ever since MS-DOS. There are plenty of other examples but I think the point is made - American products were sent to Cuba through third party nations.

Our embargo has gradually been easing, but no big announcements in order not to upset the Cubans here in America as they are a very strong and cohesive voting block.

Bill Clinton lifted all restrictions on food exports to Cuba in 2001 and since 2007, we became the major supplier of food to Cuba and it's fifth largest trading partner. I think we are now second, but I can't recall where I read that so do take that with a grain of salt.

On workers being arrested (this falls in the "You can't make this sort of $h!+ up" category...)

Employees at a Pepsi-Cola Venezuela plant have been freed after being detained by the government for halting operations, Empresas Polar, the owner of the local Pepsi division, said late on Sunday.

Apparently not having the raw materials to make a product is no reason to stop making a product in Venezuela...

Caracas (AFP) - President Nicolas Maduro threatened to seek the arrest of Kimberly-Clark representatives after the US paper products company shut down production in Venezuela amid a deep economic crisis.

The company, which halted operations two weeks ago, produced items that are in extremely short supply in Venezuela like toilet paper, diapers and feminine hygiene products.

I guess not being Socialist enough is another reason...

Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro is threatening to jail local managers of Kraft Heinz for alleged economic sabotage.

And, you thought the DMV where you lived was a bureaucratic nightmare...

President Nicolas Maduro had already given most of Venezuela's 2.8 million state employees Fridays off during April and May to cut down on electricity consumption.

"From tomorrow, for at least two weeks, we are going to have Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays as non-working days for the public sector," Maduro said on his weekly television program.
                              http://www.reuters.com/article/us-ve...-idUSKCN0XN2YZ

Directors and executives from both Dia a Dia and pharmacy chain Farmatodo were arrested on charges of destabilising the economy.

He said the chain "was waging war against the population" and the national food distribution agency would take over its running.

Mr Maduro has said many businessmen are conducting an "economic war", colluding with the political opposition to oust his government.

You are not selling products that have not been available for months! It's treason! obviously the reason...

Are they still getting away with blaming all this on the Americans as I'm amazed political matters haven't been changed by the street by now.
