  • Obama lands in Cuba

Obama, a minor official and community organizer, was not even worthy of proper reception at the airport. Nobody greeted him in Cuba except some ticket lady who checked his ticket.

More shame and humiliation for America under this president.

Liberal press is already providing excuses. "Welcoming committee was not part of the plan".

    Oh, I see.

Any chance he can just stay there...? We can always get another President.

Then there's this in that article...

Secretary of State John Kerry with meet with Colombia's largest rebel group while visiting Cuba and check in on progress to end the South American country's half-century conflict.

The meeting with the group labeled a terrorist organization by the U.S. government is scheduled to take place Monday. That's according to a participant in peace talks who requested anonymity because they're not authorized to talk to media.
Anyone getting that deja vu feeling here? Just like he met with the North Vietnamese in Paris so long ago I suppose...

Time to dust off Biden. Bobo can enjoy the fun and sun in Havana for a few months.

Well they treated him as he deserved. A 8 year farce winding down and in the future will quite probably be remembered as the worst President of modern times, taking that "honor" from Carter.

Obama should get back on the plane and fly back to DC.

It'd be great to see this turn into a positive that this will eventually lead to the Cuban government falling and a democratic system taking place in Cuba and Fidel Castro witnesses it and then dies.

Nah. Bobo would just take credit for it.

Unfortunately, the likelihood is that this will extend the reign of repression and Communist economy by the Cuban government long after the Castro brothers die. The economic boost and influx of new cash will allow the government to better withstand a collapse and keep things as they are.

But, then, that may be what Obama really wants to happen... I certainly wouldn't put it beyond him.

Did he defect? Or was he just reporting in to the KGB's Havana office?

I though the KGB had a Washington office.

Actually russians are not really liked in Cuba. Something to do with the fact the russia hasn't being paying thier yearly tribute since the ussr collapsed.
