Italy has overtaken China as having the most deaths in the world due to Covid 19.
But most of them happened in parts of Northern Italy : 3000 in Italy, but 2000 in Lombardy ( 10 million inhabitants )and in Bergamo ( 120000 inhabitants ) there are 93 deaths,4305 official cases , and the authorities fear that 60 % of its population are infected .
Bergamo has become the Italian Wuhan . Why ? Nobody knows
Emilia -Romagna ( 4,5 million inhabitants with as capital Bologna ) has the same number of confirmed cases as Bergamo :4525 and 458 deaths .Bergamo with 3 % of the population of Emilia-Romagna has the same number of confirmed infections and 20% of its deaths .

Coronavirus: Deaths in Italy pass Chinese total- BBC News

I don't think Italian deaths surpass Chinese, the Italians are reporting accurately, the Chinese are involved in a massive coverup

        * This is how deadly and contagious the disease is!

I like to think that the Italian authorities are reporting everything they come to know; and in any case, we have free media here, a cover-up would be found out and exposed, and the government in charge now is deathly afraid of the opposition.
But that does not fully equate with "reporting accurately". I think I have already mentioned the fact that the way in which tests are made, especially in hospitals and retirement homes, means that lots of old people dying are reported as Covid-19 cases, and they are indeed infected - but they were going to die anyway of the reasons why they were in hospital in the first place. Cancer, cardiac ailments, multiple other problems etc. Indeed, if you read carefully the Protezione Civile (civil defense) data, you find that the death count comes with an (*). Pending confirmation by higher health authorities. That means they will want to ascertain what the actual primary cause of death was, regardless of the fact that the victim did die "with" Covid-19.

Other countries, say Iran, are probably hiding their data. But other countries still, many, are not testing so extensively as Italy, so an old patient who passes away in an oncology ward with a terminal-stage cancer won't be tested, the cause of death being obvious - even if the virus is running rampant in the hospital where he dies, and he might well also have the virus.
