  • 4 neo-Nazi group members in British army arrested on terror charges

They should not be called white supremacists or Neo Nazis but rather members of National Action. I dont like the term white supremacist anymore then "Jihadist or Jewish radical". XM radio must have said white supremacist dozens of times in one segment this morning wrt the outing of the national socialists of the British army. To each their own but many whites are turned away by terms like white supremacist. Historically speaking such criminal terms were never associated with religion or so called race.

Also we can see from the same link that the UK disallows support of terror groups. Both anti Muslim and anti Jewish bigots claim that immigrant communities or religious communities pose a threat due to the UK gov turning a blind eye to immigrant crimes or non white crimes.. We have seen a small segment of white Brits complain about non whites and immigrants in general as if all the immigrants are the same or all the Muslims in the UK are the same. The argument from the anti immigrant is that Jews , Muslims and other non whites are not doing enough to blend into British culture or assimilate. This is the line we see from the so called English neo Nazis shown in the linked report itt. Now there are also a small segment of Brits whom do not dress like Nazis but whom hype up anti Muslim, anti Jewish and Anti immigrant view's...the line from these folks is that Jews, immigrants or Muslims dont do enough to support England. Perhaps some here whom are Anti Muslim dont want to realize they are in line with Anti Jews but the connection is shown by the linked report itt and so many other reports.

In the debate surrounding immigration, race and religion we see those proposing the ideals of freedom based on the ideals of the French and American Revolution. OTOH there are those proposing to end all immigration, some want to ban certain races or religions. When it comes to freedom there is no middle ground...we have bigots from all walks of life clearly shown by this link and thousands of other reports through the years. Either one is for freedom or they are not...in these debates it is very easy to spot whom the opponents of freedom are. The opponents of freedom are not those whom are critical of religion, but the opponents of freedom are those whom want to go against the European Christian values and outright ban entire races or religions like it was in the WW2 era. In this type of topic one might get distracted...but if one is for freedom one can easily oppose any type of idea that generalizes against people based not on their character but on their religion or skin color.

I'm afraid this a trend set to get worse. As attacks continue to hit and the politicians fail to provide practical solutions, people will feel more inclined to take matters into their own hands.

The best result will come if the political moderates address the underlying causes of mass migration and terrorism before the political extremists are left as the only option.

"being concerned in the commission, preparation and instigation" of terrorism acts.
what exactly did they do/plan? doesn't sound like they found explosives/etc, so were they arrested mainly on being part of the banned group?
..but it also says no details available

You mean like invading other countries, overthrowing foreign governments, destabilising regions and bombing the hell out of the place?

You forgot to add: assisting the blockade and starving civilian populations, encouraging and often arming religious extremists and shielding tyrants. But aren't those the sort of thing that regimes that the like of E2V support do?

Add to that the creation of Saudi Arabia by the British in the early part of the 20th century because they feared the much more moderate Hashemite tribe, who had a much stronger historical, political and religious claim on the region, would lead strong to a pan-Arab movement in the region.
Post WW2 the USA became their guardians and supported them as they sowed discord amongst their neighbours and funded extremism. Saudi Arabia is the main reason the Middle East is a basket case. It is a medieval feudal bulwark against modernity and moderation. They are the main culprits for 9/11 and the creation of ISIS but as long as they sell their oil in US dollars they are untouchable.

They were certainly "touchable" during the first Iraqi invasion, and after 9/11, but that window of opportunity was closed promptly and decisively.

By now they have expanded their army to such a degree none of the locals can easily threaten them though...

                I wonder why?

                My worst jump story:
My 13th jump was on the 13th day of the month, aircraft number 013.
As recorded on my DA Form 1307 Individual Jump Log.

I like how she talks about the Barcelona Declaration for 5 minutes but forgets to mention that Israel is also a signatory.

Surprise, surprise as the usual crowd look to pass moral judgement on others, where they should be looking closer to home, housing a Muslim refugee to help solve these problems .

My view is that, since we headed off in the same direction as Isreal, creating a religiously divided society, we will end up using the solutions that Isreal does. A recent example is the use of concrete barriers in response to vehicle attacks.

If you want a glimpse of the future in Europe, look to Israel. France will likely be the lead nation in Europe following behind the Israeli curve.
