  • Brussels attacks: How Europe is underestimating ISIS’s terror

    Time to get serious folks..
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attacks that caused the demise of at least thirty people and injured 200 more in Brussels on Tuesday, according to the Belgian Interior ministry.

Twenty of them died in an explosion at the metro station Maelbeek, a few hundred meters away from the European Parliament, while at least ten were killed by suicide bombers at the international airport.

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.

Former Islamic Extremist Says This Is the First Thing U.S. Must Do — but Has Refused to Do Under Obama — to Defeat Radical Islam

        EXCERPT:

If the United States and its allies want to defeat radical Islamic terror and stop its growing threat worldwide, one former Islamic extremist says the way to accomplish that is by challenging extremists both ideologically and militarily.

Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” Wednesday morning, Maajid Nawaz — who lived with world-renowned Islamists and jihadis in Egypt from 2002-2006 — reminded the show’s hosts that Tuesday’s attack in Brussels was actually the eighth attack by radical Islamic terrorists in March.

“What we’re witnessing, actually on a global level, is something unprecedented. I call it the ‘global jihadist insurgency,’” Nawaz said. “And it’s, in fact, an ideological struggle as well as a military struggle.”

Nawaz explained that during his time in Egypt, he became “disillusioned” with the extremist ideology after his fellow Islamists celebrated the idea of enslaving people with the “resurrection” of a caliphate.

Not just the USA, Europe might also want to consider this.

Well if we armed Europeans and they killed their fellow citizens at the same rate as Americans did maybe the terrorists would see that their job was being done for them and bugger off?

You know what will work against this recent (the latest) wave of terrorism in Europe?

Turn Europe into a police state.

Now, do we want that? Because it really only are police state dictatures that can make themselves more or less entirely safe from this kind of terror — since it targets the fact that places and people in Europe are not constantly surveilled and controlled.

If the terrorists get things their way, that would end.

I doubt ISIS cares whether they are terrorized or not. Their goal is to murder people and thus far they have been highly successful. Unfortunately western society is too apathetic to respond with anything more than token retaliation. It is, for the most part, willing prey.

Who are you going to target besides the perpetrators and ISIS members? Both of which are being retaliated against.

I'm not saying we should target anyone besides perps and ISIS members. I'm saying we aren't hitting them hard enough. They need to be exterminated. The current level of force they experience is practically harassment.

That is the problem we are dealing with actually.
We frogs with our mediocre possibilities are trying to hit them.
But we need a European striking force.
Sadly it means boots on the ground.
