  • Suleiman's heart

The search for a missing 450-year-old heart and its golden box has led researchers to a small town in south-west Hungary. The organ once belonged to an Ottoman sultan.

I hope they will preserve this find. It should be thoroughly and carefully explored, documented, recorded, and preserved for the interest of all in a fascinating era of history, that still has great bearing on today's Europe, as much as Turkey and the Middle East. Whatever one's bias or prejudice, Suleiman the Magnificent was an amazing leader who changed the world. Suleiman was a remarkable man, not only for the Turkish people, but also the Protestants in Europe. Without him, the Protestants would have been crushed by the Catholic forces from Rome and Spain.
