I don't think the Duke has made many movies in the last 20 years.

BTW, I'm also a Browns fan. We're a dying breed.

Actors of the last 20 years, huh?

    Jeff Bridges
    Matt Damon
    Russell Crowe
    Denzel Washington
    Morgan Freeman

All the ones named deserve attention. My personal all round favorite is Robert Duvall who never seems to fail to give a memorable performance.
Single best performance for me is Jeff Daniels as Chamberlain in Gettysburg. When he gives the command " Bayonets!!" his eyes shine with fire and his demeanor is one of pure encapsulation of the role.

Nothing wrong with that. Its a classic.
"No, Donny, these men are nihilists, there's nothing to be afraid of."

But where's Jesus Quintana on your list?

I almost (and should have) put Goodman on my list. Has anybody been watching him in HBO's "Treme"? He plays a pissed off Tulane professor in post Katrina New Orleans, ah...what amaster of profanity.

I would add another to the list, Samuel L. Jackson especially for his performance in Jackie Brown. Also he has been married for 30 years and was once convicted of holding his college governors hostage in the late 1960's as part of the Civil Rights protest.

Some of these guys made their best movies longer than 20 years ago, I figured they qualified because they have been very active the last 20 years nontheless.
Harrison Ford would be a close second as my favorite actor, after Tom Hanks. If they are in the cast of characters in a movie then I'll go see it.
