  • Walked out of any movies recently?

Have you walked out on any movies recently?

My wife walked out on The Wrestler, too violent and bloody.

My wife and my son walked out on Beowulf, too violent.

Can't remember last time I walked out.

I've never walked out of one, but I came within a cat's whisker with
    "Fight Club" & "The Watchmen"

I NEVER walk out on something I paid for.

But I have had a few films I downloaded because I suspected they were a poor choice for a theater ticket. And ended up not finishing.

Only recent film was one of the recent trend of compilation films started with Scary Movie. It was the one that featured the spoof of Spartans. The film was total garbage. A dumb money grab. I fast forwarded through it in slices and I even considered a bad use of the 15 minutes I wasted doing that.

I usually will dump more comedies than non comedies. I often just refuse to agree that some things are funny.
I felt that both Borat and the more recent Bruno for instance are total crap.

      I didn't for a long time either.

Your Family should stick to Walt Disney and other corny productions.
          And observe ratings very closely.

Reviews are usually biased in some fashion, but sometimes you can get the obvious needed details.

The recent comedy Bruno came with a disclaimer that made it clear refunds were not being honoured. Ok that says all I need to know about a movie.

I watched half of Training Day and turned it off. Man I don't care who is in the film, when every 3rd word is a curse, well the script sucks too large to interest me.

Some films just suck is all you can say sometimes.

I almost walked out of the new Harry Potter movie. I couldn't believe how bad that one was.

Even though I am not enough of a Harry Potter fan to want to read the books, while I didn't mind the film, I did detect that it somehow was missing something some how.

Maybe the whole story line has lost it's fire, maybe it's jumped the shark.

I thought it was quite well done. What about it didn't you like?

It was Harry Potter in Love.

Most of the conflict of the novel was missing, the movie built up no suspense, no drama, no nothing. Except Harry Potter in Love.

The ending was weak, and in context made no sense.

I could go on, but I already have on another thread.

Understood...and point taken. I think the director catered a bit too much to the prospective audience.

Where is the other thread? I'd like to read you comments.
