Do you have one of the very rare english language versions ?

So far, I only could get the russian and the german version.
And the french one with only the last part, Battle for Berlin.

I know that there is an english version made, that was to be distrubuted
to the US Theaters, but never been screened, because when the Soniets
invaded Afghanistan, a cultural block for all eastern europe movies was imposed. That was 1978, I believe.

Yes, the last part of this Series was the most impressive one.
It also portrait the polish Soldiers storming through Berlin Tiergarten.
I regocnized "Gustlic" from "CZETEREY PANCERNI I PIES, playing his part
        as a polish infantrist.

The Storming of the Reichstag reminded me of one big huge Warpainting,
        just grandios.
I liked this segment better, than the other one of my favorite movies THE DOWNFALL.

Only Polish subs, as You can see:

          http://www.emarkt.pl/wyzwolenie-osvo...d-p-15569.html

Monolith Video, nearly never puts English subs on Polish dvd's.

Thank you, that is very kind of you.

I wonder if you know, where I might find this movie

                    with english subtitles.

I watched the russian version, and it was an incredible rollercoaster ride.
Fighting the Germans, getting captured by the Germans, Escaping an Execution by the Germans, Fighting against the Germans again, getting arrested by NKVD and tortured (a Russian Soldier was never allowed to surrender) , sent to Siberia, Prisoncamp with ignorant and dumb Prisonguards in charge.
Tortured in the Prisoncamp, Escaping the Prisoncamp.
A last and gloriuos Stand battling NKVD in the Forest.
Woww, what a great miniseries this one was.
