          Embedding disabled

I'm not quite shure what that means, so I assume the "play" function was disabled.
When I tried, I got the same message, but after a few seconds, a gallery appeart at the botton. Clicked on the symbol there, and it worked.

Red Army taking Berlin. Quite nice.

            And one more:

            Many types of tanks.

LW the first one is from Osvobozhdeniye, a Russian great war film from 1970, cut into six parts (each about 1,5 h) - from Kursk to Berlin. Very similar idea, like in Lord of the Rings.

The second - Bitva za Moskvu. Russian war film from 1985.

                    Re: Czech Tank Brigade

This movie was made in the late 60's.
The Studios did not have to worry about funds, the WP just loaned a few thousend Soldiers, plus Mothballed equipment.
Dozends of german vehicles, where restored.
When you travelled the countryside in the early sixties, there was still a lot of "War Debris" to be found.
Some crafty Farmers and workers restored vehicles they have found, loaned them to the studios aswell.
Like americans love to restore old cars, the people in eastern europe
worked as a hobby on those vehicles in their spare time.
A friend of mine in east germany, during the 70's restored a BMW
Kettenkrad. He was a toolmaker, and build the parts he needed from scratch.

The British also had a Czech Brigade, but I am not sure if it ever made it to the front. German prisoners were screened and volunteers for the Polish Army, the Dutch and Czechs were culled. The Slovaks also had a division on the East Front but the first one, the "Schnell Division" (similar to a Motorized Division) was destroyed and they could only get equipment for an Infantry Division after that. Once the Soviets tried to break into Slovakia through the Carpathians, the Slovaks tried to change sides and failed.

Just popped up on Ebay, by a Scandinavian Seller:

A steepe price, but I think I'm gonna go for it:

Since it comes with dubbed in english, or english subtitles.
