Going to watch the movie tonight.
Having been a UN peacekeeper a couple of times in my life I look forward to how the blue helmets will be doing.

You may not be interested in War, but War is interested in You - Leon Trotski, June 1919.

Would you mind posting your opinion on it here?

            • I went to watch The Accountant this past weekend.

Good movie. It was slow at times but just sitting back and leaving the story unfold is worth the wait.

I'm happy I saw it at the movie theater. Not sure I would have been patient watching it on DVD.

              • I saw Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

Hmm! Maybe my expectations were to high...!

                • desperate for entertainment

threw in a DVD of Sniper 2 with Tom Berenger.

i made it all the way to the point where he picks up a refurb Mosin 91/30 straight bolt and tells his rather pretty female resistance contact (Erika Marozsan).

"Mauser 7.9 sniper rifle, best rifle the Germans made"....the contact hands him a scope and he apparently is such an amazing shot that the rifle didn't need to be zeroed or even bore sighted before hes reigning fire on the streets of Budapest, which is apparently in the Balkans according to Hollywood......

i turned it off and went to bed.

                    • The storyline of Betrayed is actually in part based on the criminal group "The Order". Its hard to think these kind of people actually existed just some 30 years ago, but they did.

                        • Worse than I thought it would be. Just plain ridiculous and, truthfully, unnecessary:

One more good film about undercover work is "Fixing the Shadow" aka "Beyond the Law"
Michael Madsen's performance is outstanding as always

Yes while we are at it, lets add in Rush

                              https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rush_(1991_film)

These dark undercover cop films can be a great watch. On "Beyond the law"...I remember seeing bits and pieces of this one...Sheen had a great look to him in Beyond the law. I dont remember much of Madsen from that one, so Ill have to rewatch at some point.

He played The Bad Guy. And I remembered him more than Sheen's part.
