  • The Mummy 3

    Here's a link to a review:

    http://www.nydailynews.com/entertain...peror_is_.html

NOw, I couldn't care less about the review. I'm going to watch it anyway for Jet Li and Michelle, and also Fraser, since I enjoyed both Mummy movies so much.

But I would like to draw your attention to the hardware carried by Bello and Fraser.

Especially Bellow. A pair of GP-35 with adjustable sights. Now that's a good choice for an adventuress fighting off mummies!

    I'm looking forward to it!

      Exactly.

Was a fine loud and colorful movie, just the right level of stupidity. I didn't like the new chick at all, though.

After the depressing Dark Knight, just the right tonic for me.

I guess I should be glad I didn't go to see it last night then?

My wife really likes these films due to Brendan Fraiser. I settle for being there when it happens.

I can't wait to see this film...I loved the other two Mummy movies, and Scorpion King ROCKED! Jet Li is an awesome villain (see Lethal Weapon 4) in any movie he plays one.

Just watched it. It really is as bad as the critics say it is. Bad script. Bad dialogue. Bad female lead. Bad CGI.

In fact, it's so bad that it's good! It's so cheesy that it's a thoroughly enjoyable guilty pleasure.

              I loved it.

Well, it would be a better good bad movie if they had picked at least a minimally acceptable chick.

I hear Brendan Fraser's already signed on for a Mummy 4.

Actually, I think I enjoyed this one better than IJ4.

Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh weren't in IJ4!

And it's really fun hearing Mandarin being spoken in a Hollywood production. (Although the Americans in the cast can't speak proper Mandarin for nuts!)

It ain't a good movie without Rachel Wiesz. Brendan Fraser looks too young in this movie to have a grown son. The movie is also a bot too politically correct. One of the speakers at Mrs O'Connor's book reading is Oriental. I don't see them letting her in the house in post-war England.

My daughter, who has a mental age of around 5, liked the movie, but I had to wake her up twice.

If they bring back Oded Fehr for #4, I'm all for it.

Number 3 was all right. Just the right amount of action ,missed Weisz though. In related news The Scorpion King 2 is coming out aug. 19. Randy Couture is playing the bad guy. No Rock though.
