No, for some reason Netflix has closed their movie browsing so that you can only browser when you are logged in right now.

Might be due to volume, their website used to get slower and slower and maybe that's a stop-gap. Must be people not knowing imdb is better anyway.

Overall they are a non-BS company. You don't see many people upset about them.

I would not be surprised if you've clicked on a spoofed page, MZ. Some hacker spaz has created a look-alike Netflix site and is attempting to garner people's information (credit card numbers being of prime value) for nefarious means. I've been a member of Netflix for some seven months now, and have never seen them have anything DOWNLOADABLE anywhere on their site. Even the movies you can buy from them are still delivered snail mail style. Check that website again. Better yet, never go to it again, and run a completely thorough virus, trojan, malware, adware, and bot scan most hastily.

Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) is the world's largest online movie rental service, providing more than 8 million subscribers access to more than 100,000 DVD titles plus a growing library of more than 10,000 choices that can be watched instantly on their PCs. The company offers nine subscription plans, starting at only $4.99 per month. There are no due dates and no late fees ever. All Netflix plans include both DVDs delivered to subscribers' homes and, for no additional fee, movies and TV series that can be started in as little as 30 seconds on subscribers' PCs. DVDs are delivered free to members by first class mail, with a postage-paid return envelope, from over 100 U.S. shipping points. Nearly 95 percent of Netflix subscribers live in areas that can be reached with generally one business day delivery. Netflix offers personalized movie recommendations and has two billion movie ratings. For more information, visit www.netflix.com.

SOBs from Netflix Trying to Trick Me

They have this "free trial" offer but the way they designed the web pages is to trick me so I commit to a plan that will charge my credit card. All I wanted to see is their selection of DOWNLOADABLE movies b/c that's how I view movies. I don't want any CDs delivered and I never go to the video store. Netflix says they have 10,000 downloadable titles you can browse right now. Well my friend, unless you give them your credit card you can browse your anus.

Anybody knows a good alternative to Netflix? I'm currently subscribed to iTunes but their selection is too small.
