    Oh, brother...

    Boll 'Tunnels' Into Game Business

"The filmmaker that so many gamers love to hate is now getting involved in making games, not just game-based movies. Boll, who recently filmed a Vietnam war movie called Tunnel Rats, is partnering with Replay Studios to create a game based on the film. Details inside..."

Might not be such a bad idea after all, some areas of Vietnam like Cu Chi for instance could ressemble the south african bush, especially during the dry season. Still, this movie smells like a booby trap already heh.

I'm just reminded of a B movie I have on VHS called 'Hostage' (Not the Bruce Willis film) Filmed in S. Africa and stars Wings Hauser and the publisher of Soldier of Fortune magazine. If the star power alone dosent blow you away, the plot will. Standard arabs hijack a plane and hold it for ransom. What I could never get past was the fact that the arabs all are white and have thick Afrikakans accents.

With that in mind, the mind boggels:
Zulus as extras in NVA uniforms?
Voortrekker scouts in loincloths as 'Yards?

And the accents alone should be worth the price of admission:
"So mon, Velcome to da Nam."

          No. No. No.

          ...no?

It's indeed a dark day for cinema.
“To discriminate against a thoroughly upright citizen because he belongs to some particular church, or because, like Abraham Lincoln, he has not avowed his allegiance to any church, is an outrage against that liberty of conscience which is one of the foundations of American life.”

IIRC there was a fairly well known Vietnam film filmed in London's 'Docklands' area!!

Uwe Boll, infamous director known for destroying every single film he has ever been involved with. Good God is he a blight upon cinema. With all the bad reviews and press that surrounds him, how can he continue to be allowed to make movies... or a better question, who the f%&k funds his projects that enable this "thing", this man of sorts, to pursue such wretched productions and horrid adaptations?
