Seen 'em both. As to which one is worst I still go with 'Raid On Rommel'

As an interesting aside, 'Raid On Rommel' uses a lot of left over action footage from 'Tobruk' and a lot of the long shots of Richard Burton's character are actually George Peppard in 'Tobruk'.

Did anyone else think of Ernst Blofeld while seeing Nikita Krutschev in Enemy at the gates? Otherwise, It wasn't too bad.

Anyone else see "Force 10 from navarone"?

have to agree, the love interest totally sucked and the RAF squadron based at a stately home, i don't think so.

Many of those war movies made in the 60's were crap, I agree.

A more recent film I thought was garbage was, "The Great Raid."

                  - my two cents.

PH doesn't even qualify as a movie. Trash bs from start to finish. I was asked to be quite or leave the theater. I left, couldn't stop laughing. Wife not happy!

                      Pearl Harbor
                      Midway

I hate ranking Midway with Pearl Harbor cause with Midway you can at enjoy the movie if you pretend it is about a fictional battle.

someday, I intend to watch "Tora tora tora" as much of the footage in "Midway" was cribbed from it.

                        Perhaps then, I'll hate it.

I've got to agree with Richard, 633 Squadron is at least a two star movie. Not great but not terrible.

Windtalkers Vs. Pearl Harbor that's a tough choice, mydo they both SUCK. What's ironic is that have both on DVD just so I could pick them apart for all the mistakes, luckily I bought them used, if I had paid retail I'd never have forgiven myself.......................

I saw Pearl Harbor at friends house with out sound, something was wrong with there TV at the time. We ended up watched it with subtitles.

I am currently study the pilots who flew with the pursuit squadron of Philippines, particularly the 21st squadron. So I think I know a little more than the average person about pilots of that time frame.

After watching about 30 minutes of stuff those two dumb pilots did, I think I can honestly say the the people that made that movie know NOTHING ABOUT FLYING OR WW2.

                              P.S.
By the way the sound has nothing to do with not liking the movie. I really enjoy silent films. With the sound off it was an improvement.
