  • Songs that can only be sung by the original artist

I have been rather impressed with finding tunes done by the Gregorian band monks, but oddly enough, as pleasing as it is to listen to them, occasionally an original artist simply can't be replaced or emulated.

I listened to them do Queen's The Show Must Go On, and frankly, they were totally unable to pull it off. In fact I had to immediately play the real thing just to get their version out of my head.

Freddy, you can never be replaced.
Life is change. Built models for decades.
Not sure anyone here actually knows the real me.
    I didn't for a long time either.

I love Jim Croce. Im also only 37.

Al Stewart would be another IMHO. Same for Iron Maiden {Bruce Dickenson} as well.

I would have to say "Cheap Wine" by Cold Chisel. Jimmy Barnes is unique.

How could anyone but Tiny Tim pull off "Tiptoe through The Tulips"?

Year of the cat could not be done by anyone else, but having said that, I would love to hear David Gilmour sing it with Floyd doing a long instrumental version of it just for kicks.
