  • V - For Vomit

I finally got around to watching V For Vendetta two nights ago - it was late and nothing else was on.

What a total and complete stinker of a movie. Thank goodness I never wasted any real money on it at the theaters. Even the best popcorn in the world, free hookers and an open bar couldn't have saved this one.

Agreed. I was expecting a guerilla war against a puesdo-facist govt and wound up with a lecture on gay rights and islamic tolerance.

Thank god for Direct TV. In the old days, I used to buy new films on VHS,sight unseen and hope form the best.

Haven't seen it. Once I heard it had a political undertone, I lost interest.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated... again...

A real shame as the original comic book is one of the finest of the genre.
But then I've yet to see a decent film adaptation of a comic character.

i was expecting more of a "secret agent" type movie.

and wound up with a lecture on gay rights and islamic tolerance.

It wasn't the best movie I have ever seen it, but I did enjoy it. Being from Texas, I couldn't be farther from being a Canadian.

We're working on your honorary pasport. Do you have pictures of yourself drinking a real beer while riding a moose in snowshoes? It would help the process.

It was cheesy and preachy. And they used the word b--locks so much I wanted "V" to start offing the ones using the word instead of the bad guys.

I have some good beer, but please ship the moose and snowshoes for the photo op! It would be much appreciated.
