Have you seen it? If you only tried the first episode I would recommend watching the rest of the season on Showtime on demand.

The Chi is sort of like the African American version of The Sopranoes. I know good tv, and the Chi is a must watch for everyone..every episode of the Chi keeps you interested. The Chi not only shows black gang members but also the blue collard black worker. And not only this, but the Chi pays homage to the good r and b Music of the 1960s and 1970s.

    The Chi on Showtime

It might be the best show on tv. The writing of The Chi is suburb. In The Chi we see all walks of life of Chicago, old and new school gangsters, regular everyday workers, thugs and all sorts of folk. The Chi is maybe the African American version of the Italian American show "The Sopranoes". The Chi is a must watch.
