  • Libby Custer was a Movie Actress

She did appear in a short film in 1925 called The Pottery Maker. Libby plays an old lady who goes to a pottery shop with her granddaughter to pick up a pot and while there her granddaughter accidently destroys a pot. The potter then makes a new pot showing the viewing audience how it is made. The potter was played by Victot Raffo who was considered one of the best potters in the world at the time and the granddaughter was played by Victor's daughter Ruth. Maude Adams directed the film.

“When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun'.”
    ― Groucho Marx
