I'm trying to imagine anyone who hasn't seen this movie. I must be old.

There was a ton of sex in Vertigo, but it was all repressed, and therefore more desirable, like an itch you can't scratch.

Story-wise, Vertigo is okay, but the theme on the fine line between unrequited love and obsession renders it totally engrossing. What really struck me about the film, however, was its cinematography: it's a stunningly beautiful film, overflowing with rich colors that not only stir the emotions, but fool the mind into blurring the line between reality and fantasy. Vertigo really is a must see.
