It's not a bad movie but Brad Johnson is a very stiff actor. He was a hot commodity for awhile there in the early 90s until the movie industry realized that he couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag.

That's true of quite a number of actors these days. Mark Wahlberg has the emotional range of a robot. Tom Selleck is the same.

The best actors are the ones who play villians - they have to display emotions properly.

When they were supposedly waiting for the court-martial verdict they were standing in a picnic area, trees and tables, etc. In the background you can clearly see Long Beach Naval Shipyard. The scene was shot on the breakwater, at a rec area with a very nice view.
