  • R.I.P. "Jaws"

Richard Kiel, best known for his role as the nearly-silent henchman "Jaws" (he had one line in Moonraker) in two James Bond movies, died September 10th at the age of 74.

His death came just nine days after the death of another Bond villain actor, German actor Gottfried John (General Ourumov in Goldeneye), who died September 1st at the age of 72.

RIP. The first time I remember seeing him, he was an unspeaking alien in a Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man."

This isn't the same guy who played Lurch, right?

However I recall one Roger Moore Bond movie he was in, jumping from a plane and free falling for about four minutes.

Then, he fell in love with the ungainly red head and later became a good guy when he switched sides in Moonraker.

No, Lurch was played by Ted Cassidy, who died in January 1979 at age 46.
