  • Spies in Warsaw

I've just watched part I of the Beeb production Spies in Warsaw. I don't know of others who have watched it, but I found it enthralling and gripping. It starts in 1937 Warsaw and follows the actions of a French military attache (David Tennant) as he tries to uncover what the Germans are doing pre-war. It's not an action series, but Warsaw makes for a good setting, as more than Germany had plans for Poland.

I have seen the entire mini-series. I thought it was very good. He plays the role very well, including how he takes not being believed by his superiors.

I have put the book on my list to read - I thought the show was that good.

I won't spoil it for you
