      WASP by Eric Frank Russel would be good original movie to make, except that they could make the Aliens the good guys .
      Others could be The Forever War by Joe Haldeman or Janissaries by Jerry Pournelle. However, the latter two would need big budgets.

        Both would be food, if they did them right. Haldeman would be a series, I hope.
