All I ask is more Casino Royale and less Quantum of Solace. But regardless, I'm looking forward for Javier Bardem as a bond villain.
This one has been on my radar for a while. The theme song is out aswell, Skyfall by Adelle.

I liked both, but preferred CR better. I've not seen Bardem, only on trailers. Hopefully he will be as good as Mads Mikkelsen.

I think this is Daniel Craig's last chance to make it or break it as Bond. Three strikes and you're out, Danny Boy. Let's face it, neither Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace were very good Bond films. And much of the previous Bond output was more show than tell, so the bar was not very high to start with. One more clunker could end the franchise. It would certainly be the end of Craig's run.

I just hope Skyfall is entertaining. But Craig and the franchise have to come out from the big hole they've dug for themselves.

        Cheers,
        Dan.

Eh?? Casino Royale was very good. I thought so, and I've been watching since I was a kid in the 60's and own all of them. Unfortunately, I won't watch Brosnan's. Don't like him. Or Lazenby.

Sorry mate but this is way off.

Casino Royale is widely considered one of the best Bond movies ever. You can certainly disagree, but the movie studios go by the mainstream opinion, and both critics and audience loved it, myself included. Casino Royale is the highest-grossing instalment of the James Bond series and Quantum of Solace broke the UK opening weekend record.

Plus, the Bond film franchise is the biggest in history. Even if these movies were bad, 007 can endure at least 5 turds untill anybody starts thinking about dropping it. It has been going since 1962 and is, adjusted for inflation, the highest-grossing film franchise in history.

Both money and critics agree that Bond is as healthy as he has ever been.

Bond, old hat. If you have seen one you have seen them all. We know how it well end before it starts. Once a BIG fan I find the new fare boring.

Okay, if I suck as a movie critic I'll go back to doing what I do best. Posting pictures of pretty girls on the 'net.

Here are the latest two Bond girls from Skyfall, Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris.

I agree. Quantum of Solace was horrible.

I'm looking forward to Skyfall. Craig is quite possibly the best Bond of them all, and the truest to the original character.

                        I knew I liked you.
He is a man's man. He's edgy. He has 'killer' eyes. He is tough. He fights, does ALOT of his own stunts. He is moody, you're right, he is quite possibly the most perfect Bond. Even Sean thinks so.

IMO Sean Connery was still the best James Bond. My favoriet book and movie was Goldfinger . 007

There were many books I liked. I even liked some of that one guy(can't remember his name) wrote during the 1980's. One I especially liked, was Brokenclaw.

CA was one of the better ones, for these "modern" timeframe, but the next one, not so much I'd agree there. The newest Bond is pretty good at it, just wish they would delve back into his past like Ca, that was pretty interesting.

Cheers, almost time to start watching them all again for the Nov Blu Ray release date of this latest one!!
