          ...in 17% gravity.

Actually, that would give "light in the loafers" a new spin.

Went to watch it with some friends, wasnt bad actually. Although in 10 years time nobody will get the pop-culture references any more (downfall ranting scene, sarah palin, etc)

The anthem of the space nazis is actually the Guard on the Rhine with a new text. (See here for the german text and the (sometimes quite off) english translation:

                  And here for the original:

Ha, wie so stolz und hehr
                  Wirft über Land und Meer
                  Weithin der deutsche Aar

I saw it a couple days ago. It was watchable, and I didn't feel my time was wasted, so give it 3 stars or so (out of 5).

The biggest problem of the film imho was that it did not take a single direction but tried to be too many things at once. They should have taken the Allo Allo route, or a much more shocking and sinister route such as Conspiracy. Instead, they tried to do both simultaneously, at it didn't quite work.

Enjoyable enough providing you switch your brain off at the start.

Yeah, it was not as good as I hoped. The 1960-esque ending was a bit much as well; you cannot make good comedy if you're dying (ho-ho) to bash audiences around the head with a message of man's inhumaniity to man etc.

Stick to the Nazi / Sarah Palin jokes and the yummy ladies
History is not tragedy; to understand historical reality, it is sometimes better to not know the end of the story.
