The World War II book I'd like to write, which I assume has more or less been written, would be "The American German Generals". It would be about Eichelberger, Krueger, and Wedemeyer, who I think it's fair to say served in the Pacific since they were German-born or of German ancestry and/or attended the Kriegsakademie. It would talk about their life experiences, particularly regarding their Germanic heritage. Eisenhower of course would also be in it, although his heritage went back generations. It does seem to that that the 3 German generals are under-rated, particularly Eichelberger. I would explore that issue also.

A alt-history about the great offensive of 1919 when the western Allies smash through the German lines and don't stop until Berlin.
