Just finished listening to Brett Baier's Three Days at the Brink audio book. Can't say it was new or interesting. Everything in the book has been covered before and probably better. I think the trend started with the O'Reilly pseudo history books where a ghost writer rehashes some topic they think will sell books and can be promoted with a hour long special on Fox News. I will not waste too much time going on about it or the Fox media machine but I am interested about what others may think. Do these books provide much value in promoting historical reading or are they brain candy?

I read a book by Glenn Beck several years ago when he was probably still on Fox.

It read like it was written on a third grade reading level.
